The daily call list explained.

How Yapii's scoring surfaces who to call today - and why the reason matters as much as the name.

Ten names. Ten reasons. Sixty minutes. That's the whole morning strategy.

This guide covers how the queue is built, how to read it in under a minute, and the single mistake that makes it worthless. If you're already set up, jump straight to working the list.

What the daily call list actually is

Most agents start the morning with the same question: who do I call today? Left to intuition, the answer is usually whoever emailed last, whoever popped into your head in the shower, or whoever you've been meaning to follow up with for three weeks.

Yapii's daily call list replaces that guesswork with a ranked queue. Every contact in your database is scored overnight. By the time you open the platform, the ten people most likely to list in the next 90 days are already sitting at the top - with a one-line reason next to each name.

How the list gets built

The queue is the output of three layers working together:

  • Behavioral signals. Valuation-page visits, email open patterns, MLS search activity - anything that shows a homeowner is thinking about a move, even before they've told anyone.
  • Public-record triggers. Equity crossing a threshold, tenure hitting a typical sell point (5–7 years), tax-assessment changes, and transfer history all update nightly.
  • Recency and decay. A signal from yesterday outweighs one from last month. The model applies a time-decay function so contacts who were warm six months ago don't crowd out contacts who just hit a trigger today.

The combination means you're never calling cold. Every conversation has a reason - and the reason is surfaced on-screen before you dial.

Reading the list in under 60 seconds

Each row in the queue shows four things:

  • Name and phone number. One tap to call on mobile, one click on desktop.
  • Score (0–100). Higher is warmer. Anything above 70 is a same-day priority.
  • Top signal. The single strongest reason this contact surfaced - e.g., "Visited valuation page 4× this week" or "Equity crossed $280 k, 7-year tenure."
  • Suggested opener. A one-sentence conversation starter that references the signal without revealing you were watching. We call this the natural touch.

"Hey Marcus, I was thinking of you - I have a few buyers looking in Westlake this month and your street keeps coming up. Any chance you've thought about timing?"

Generated opener for a contact with 6-year tenure and three valuation-page visits in 10 days.

Working the list without burning the morning

The most effective Yapii teams block 60–90 minutes first thing and work the top ten in order. After each call they mark one of three outcomes: Connected, Left voicemail, or Not now. That input feeds back into the model - "not now" contacts move down the queue and resurface when the next trigger fires.

You don't have to be aggressive to make this work. The list isn't asking you to cold-pitch everyone above score 70. It's asking you to have a genuine conversation with the people your data says are already thinking about a move. The call is a service, not a sales push.

Team queues and how assignments work

If you run a team, each agent sees only their own contacts by default. Admins can configure a shared overflow pool - unassigned contacts above a score threshold that any agent can claim. This prevents high-value signals from sitting untouched because one agent is on vacation.

Call list data rolls up to the team dashboard. You can see at a glance how many top-ten contacts each agent reached today, how many voicemails were left, and which contacts have been skipped three days running - a useful coaching signal.

The one mistake that kills the list's value

Cherry-picking. Agents sometimes scroll past the top of the queue to call people they already know. The familiar contact might score 45. The stranger at position two might score 88. Work in order, at least for the first two weeks, until you trust the rankings. The data will earn that trust quickly.
